Question about condenser on '85

Hi guys. I did a little search on this and it was only mentioned once without much detail. I have an '85 GSL (12A) and while taking the rat's nest and bee hive off I had to remove the condenser located on the engine by the inspection plate. As I was unplugging it the wire broke off just inside the condenser. After consulting with my friend from NAPA and looking through his sensor book at all the condensers listed I can only find the '79 to '83 Mazda it says. Does not specify RX-7 but I was just curious if this one would do. I'd rather not pick one up from the wreckers (as I would assume I would most likely have the same problem) but is it necessary? I was looking into the 2nd gen direct fire ignition as well and will probably pick up the ignitor/coil soon. Any help would be appreciated.

You dont need that crappolla condenser. My stock gauges work with no problem for many years.

It's on the wire for the oil pressure sending unit. I'm assuming it smoothes out the readings on the oil pressure gauge, but it's already pretty well damped, so I doubt that it does much.

Thanks for the great info guys. Do I just leave the wire unplugged or should I hook it up to ground?

No, if you hook it up to ground, you will never read anything on the oil pressure gauge. Just leave it hanging if you aren't going to find a replacement.
