Question Question about 1985 12a Fluids.

Hi i just bought a 1985 gsl and was wondering if anyboady could tell me some stuff:

What weight of engine oil would u recommend, also what about transmission and differential (LSD) (5 speed)

I read synthetic shouldn't be used in engine (Ture?)

All help would be appreceiated! im planning on doing a Revamp on the car (fluids ignition etc.)

also is there any fancy mixture for the radiator or can i use prestone 50/50

My use of fluids are as follows:

Motor oil: Castrol 20-50wt
Transmission/steering box : Redline MT90
Differential :Redline 75W90 GEAR OIL
Radiator: 60% distilled water, 6oz WaterWetterand 38% anti-freeze

Of course you will have to make adjustments for colder/freezing climates.

Where do you folks fine Redline fluids? The local speed shop got shut down for selling NOS (illegal in Kansas). Are there any mainstream stores that carry Redline?

I used to get it from Pep Boys but it was hit/miss though, so I found it easier to order it from IOPortRacing.com during their end of the race season sale or SummitRacing.com
