Question

Ok I have done some searches not found the info I was looking for. Some of you know I am looking for a motor and been tring to find out how much the motors weigh. I have found everything from 150lbs to 375lbs. I was wondering if there was a place online to get a better estmate of the different engine weights? Thanks for any help. I have been doing my quotes for 250lbs.

The best recommendation I can give you is to Pm Dan Atkins. They ship out all the time and I'm sure that he can give you a very accurate answer..

Make sure you ask a very accurate question though, as the barebone block's weight is very different from a full engine's.

well i say most people would be able to lift a pretty complete engine,
250 is a pretty good guess.
