Question 1 of 5 Rat's Nest

I think my previous thread contained too many pictures because I never got an answer for all of the questions about what to plug or leave open. So, I am posting the pictures in individual threads.

This is thread 1 of 5

First here are the inlets at the base of the carb. Some of you say plug them all. Some of you say leave one open. Okay which is it and which one should be left open?

BTW this question includes the two large hoses as well. Although, I don't believe I should mess with the one with the yellow band. Right?

Just got back form looking at my car (mine run's, your's will too..soon)
Plug the 5 small nippples that are all in line, plug the lager nipple that is below them. Leave the hose with the yellow band on, and leave the blind plug that should already be on the large nipple that is farther right of the yellow band. (out of the picture)

Just checked my manual, I was RIGHT !!!! Oops, guess I shouldn't act too surprised, you might lose faith that your car will ever run again. The yellow banded hose is the altitude compensator and the blind plug to the right is for automatic transmissions which I sincerly hope you do not need. Good luck hope you've got your answers now
