Question Quci question

Hi guys, i just bought a 85 se last week. This is my second and 7 and I just love the car. I have to tune the car and track down some problems. Not running right and stuff like that. My question is where do I hook a digital tach to the engine I've heard on the neg post of the trailing coil? Is this true, if not could somebody lemme know? I'd apreciate it. This se has an awfuly loud exhaust with little restriction if any at all. With these 13b's they need some to open the 5th and 6th port right?..Well thanx for the info l8tr

Yeah, negative terminal on the trailing coil should work for you, and yes, the 5th and 6th ports are opened by exhaust back pressure. Do a search for 5th and 6th ports and you will find more information than you will care to read . SOme people wire them open, some people remove them, some people rig them to work, some people leave them stock. Its really up to you.
