Putting Distributor back in ???

What is the rule on doing this on a 12a? I know piston motors are a bit diffrent...

bring the #1 rotor to TDC and align the dot on the dist shaft gear with the pointer on the dist housing. then put it in easy. jeezus has pix, yo stu!
