putin in clutch

i just had my fly turned today and i have it securely in place, the thing is im on my back in a very small space trying to hold the disc in place while bolting in the preasure platel... just wondering if there is a way to keep the two stationary until i can get 2 bolts in to hold it steady for the next... anyone done this befor... i have very limited room... think of the rex then drive it onto about 1Ft tall ramps.

get a piece of dowel that will fit through the clutch disc, and into the end of the E-shaft (where the pilot bearing is). This will align the clutch disc, as well as hold it in place while you put the pressure plate on. The dowel has to be a fairly tight fit in bot the clutch disc AND the e-shaft, so you might have to trim one end down or something. Either that or go buy a clutch aligning tool, which is essentially the same thing, just with splines cut into the shaft so the clutch disc is held really well...
