proyect GSLSE/turbo II. 1/4 miles times

yeah i took my car to the drag strip today for the first time and i had a few encounters with the safety guys because of my little oil leak and the fuel pressure regulator position but they still let me race my car and heres the times

first run

R/T .991
60 ft 2.713
ET @ 594 FT 10.085
1/8 10.783
1/8 MPH 74.90
1/4 ET 16.376
1/4 MPH 68.17

this run sucks because is my first time in the track and i didnt knew nothing about it

sec run

R/T .576
60 FT 2.189
ET@594 FT 8.603
1/8 ET 9.194
1/8 MPH 76.12
1/4 ET 14.466
1/4 MPH 93.16

i didnt have no problem in this one and you can see my rookie R/T and i was impress about it

third run

R/T .921
60 ft 2.204
ET @ 594 FT 8.525
1/8 Et 9.100
1/8 MPH 78.26
1/4 ET 14.199
1/4 mph 96.34

well in this one i clean the spark plugs and my car came to life and i was running 10 psi of boost (7 psi in the other 2 runs) plus i lost because i breakout by .001 sec ( my dial time 14.20). well what you thinks guys. my goals are still in the high -mid 13's but that will take some time. thanks

Good Job Eddie!!, A little bit of tuning, and some drag radials, and you'll be in the 13's for sure.

i think about 190-200 hp maibe more but i havent dyno the car yet im gonna do that soon. my car was running good. i had 94 octane with octane booster and it felt faster with that. i usually use 93 octane. and i tuned it a little prior the last run, so am gonna tune it a little more and put the RB down pipe and hope to break in the 13's

congrats on the times! yeah, i really don't see getting into the 13s as being much of a problem. some more tuning and maybe a flywheel/clutch upgrade and i, personally, think you should hit it with street tires.

go for it!
