Im taking out my 83 rx7's transmission and going by the hynes repair book.. i've taken out the four screws to the rear of the propeller shaft and the rotten bastard doesn' t want to come off. this is the only thing left for my transmission to come down.

 

Pull the driveshaft forward towards the tranny then down off the yoke...that should do it.
