projectors on a 1st gen?

hey i know the only way to get a straight line headlight beam is to have projectors, seen here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...Name=WDVW&rd=1 now i know they accually reduce lighting, so thats why i wouldnt put them in unless i had a real HID conversion kit wich runs about 240$ do you guys htink this would be a good idea or not?

the shipping on those is off the scale. not a good buy. as for how they work, the projector shield is too large and will block a lot of light. There have been many threads on this type of lighting do a search for them. ah hell I will do it.

Most ricer shops sell those for around $20 each with the H4 bulbs. I am running the diamond cut reflector hopusing with a really nice H4 bulb setup. Tremendous improvement over the stock. I used to sell them for $14.95 each plus whatever bulbs you chose.

yeah i know the projectors block alot of light, thats why i was going to go FULL hid conversion, with the ignitors and balasts and everything, i just want the straight line projection of the beam.
