I got the wheels from Discount tire with tires and all. The rub some, so I will either need to go to a narrower tire size or use a spacer. i am kind of skeptical about the spacers since the car tends to vibrate.

What did you use for the stereo surround? Was it a vinyl based sheet to simulate CF?

I have no clue. My understanding is that it is a film that floats on top of a fluid. The parts are in the same fluid and as they are brougth up, the film attaches to it. No peeling or unglueing since it becomes a part of the part, Makes sense?

THere are a couple of sites and some vendors on e-bay that sell cut out pieces of this materials to fit in that spot, but no actual OEM part or look alike. Mine a re the riginal pieces covered/fuzed on w/the material. I seeing the cut out pieces and they look good as well.

I am feeling inspired seeing what you have done with your SE. What seats are those that you used? They look nice. I also like the wheels, they look sweet. I definitely have to respect the attention to detail you have been giving this project. Nice job.

The seats are RX8 seats. Still have to bolt down the passenger side And weld the brackets on both. A lot attention to detail and time consuming and I am loving it...

started

Got the car started this weekend. Sounds awesome. Made a little video, should be able to post it tonight. Got my steering wheel in and are waiting for the hub/adapter. I need to make a few adjustments here and there and I'll be able to put it on the road for a test drive.
