Project Kramer at the Drag Strip.
Going to the Track today and tomorrow,
I will let you guys know how it goes!
I've been working on the car to make it pass Tech.
Scattershield, Driveshaft Loop, moving my FPR, etc..
I'll be running in the street car class, and will be my 1st track event in the car. I am not expecting anything too fast, since it's my 1st event, and I need practice. I'll be happy with low 12's if the MPH is there.
I'll post pics on this thread later
Wish me luck!!

You be in the low 12's easy, you are making a bit more power than me and I ran 12.44 @ 113mph with a suck 1.95 60' on street radials (falken Azenies 205/50-15's).
Every track I have been to if you are running a street radial type tire the tech will be easy. You don't even need to have a driveshaft loop or scatter sheild unless running slicks. Once you put slicks on the tech gets harder.
So I would bet as long as your nuetral safety switch work, seat belts are in working order, and your battery is strapped down they will just say "Okay"
Good luck and get some 11's on streets tires

Got there late today, and they had JR. Dragsters taking up the WHOLE time. I was really pissed!!!
I didn't get to run Race gas either - still on cheap 93. , so still low boost.
Tech was a bitch, since my battery has been relocated.
They guy let me off without the Master On/Off Switch.
Two really crappy runs.
1st run, missed 2nd completely, I thought I blew the tranny. Limped to a 108 MPH.
2nd time, more of the same, but had nasty wheelspin, and then bogged 2nd completely. Then ended up at 111 mph.
I need more practice - especially with the helmet and 5 point harness on me. It really threw me off.
Tomorrow I am pretty sure I will reach my earlier goal. Maybe I'll find some VP Race Fuel too.
I'll post the ET's later, after I get some better times, I am a little disapointed with my driving.
Posting from the track, on my Laptop - I will keep you informed with pics later.

cheer up man, The trapspeeds on your two runs are GREAT for runs that were off pace/missed shifts. I look forward to consistent results... after all, i need a target

Saturday:
14.6 at 108 - 1st run EVER. (okay, in my FB)
14.6 at 111 - spun all of 1st, and bogged 2nd.
They shut down the park.
Sunday:
13.5 at 112 - missed third...
12.6 at 120 - better, but crappy 60 foot times, missed 4th.
13.5 at 79 - How?
On my way to a low 12, when the clutch exploded shifting into 4th at the 8th mile mark. Thank God I just installed the scattershield this week. The transmission bellhousing disintegrated all over the track.
The mph, at only 17 psi (93 octane) says this is a good 11 second street car once I get it dialed in, an learn to drive at the track. I can only imagine running more boost on Race Gas.
The reason I keep missing gears is because I am over-revving. I can't hear the stock "redline buzzer" with the helmet on. I need to install my shift lite, and the 8000 rpm pills on my MSD's. I also need to practice at the track. It is SOOOO different than on the street.
I'll post pics of the carnage later... It'll be down for a while, and I will making a few changes as well.
