Yes. 944. Read above - the "bodykit" is Porsche parts grafted on.

Grafting falls into that 'custom' category. Can you say about 75-100 an hour? I can boys and girls can you say a lot of labor, i can boys and girls. Can you say that the cost of that body kit installed is the excess of 10k I can boys and girls :) Ok enough of mr. bills and seasme street. That kinda stuff isnt an off the shelf thing. ITS EXPENSIVE!!! :)

V8kilr 04-06-02 11:58 PM

after seeing that mustang bumper i think anyone can do anything in their garage if they have enough time and patience,.

and some money, and some experience, and some more money, and some, well you get the picture

i wonder if the guy that came down was in the club?

MIKE-P-28 04-07-02 12:32 AM

chuck morgan came down, nice guy, I gave him several things I had here and sold him an old 85 carb I had cheap :D

peejay 04-07-02 10:36 AM

Grafting's easy, all you gotta go is put the part up to the car, make it fit sorta kinda good, then make sheetmetal or fiberglass to shape the two together, spend lots of time smoothing it out, etc. Oh wait maybe it's not so easy :)

I remember an old issue of Car Craft where they made new fenders for a Mustang GT. They had to, they put a 600+hp turbo engine in it (big stuff 10-12 years ago) and huge 16x12 wheels (again, big stuff 10-12 years ago). They cut the orginal fenders away, mocked-up where the new fenders would be with rod, then cut, formed, and welded sheetmetal to the rod. Add filler, smooth it out, paint it, voila, widebody Mustang. (All you peeps interested in "widebody kits" take notice)

direct.. what was that about the t04b?
-i was running a t04b .81ar exhaust and 1200cfm on the compressor side.
-it was more than enough for a street car.
14psi.. made 335hp to the RW.. with the "restricted" intake system. <--is what you called it..which is not bad for a t04b.

LAG, LAG, LAG.;)

Getting Boost to build at boost 4900RPM is not my idea of "quick spoolin".:D

Yo ItZweapon - I got over 155 Pics at Moroso yesterday.
RX-2's,3',7' Rotary Starlets, Rotary Datsuns, Widebody Turbo First Gen's,

You want me to email them to you?

I want to post a bunch, But I need a good place to post where it won't give you "too" much crap to view them

Any Ideas?

MIKE-P-28 04-07-02 03:31 PM

put em up on webshots or somewhere?

itzweapon 04-07-02 03:53 PM

hellz yea y0u freak... send them all..
use "myweaponofchoice@myacc.net"

itzweapon 04-07-02 03:58 PM

oh.. and "full" 8/10/12/14/psi @ 4800-4900 rpm is not bad at all.. concidering then in 3rd 4th and 5th gear @ that rpm is where the power band [sweetspot] is anywayz.
-i'll wait till your single turbo setup is on and running.. then you can tell me where you build boost and where..when your driving hard.. your rpms shift points are..and@ that point.. i'll demand a paid dinner from you :]

As it is you owe me. You are wrong about the rear hatch and Gas Door switches in the SE. Go ahead and confirm. One is Pull, the other is Push, not both the same as you said:doh:

Wattz 04-07-02 07:00 PM

Dude, isntead of doing that, why not just drop a big assed rotary engine into a 928 or 944?

That'd be badass. I'd call it the Rx-928 or Rx-944

And I'd still have my 7.

brake 04-07-02 07:00 PM

is the 13b-RE the same as the REW?

i know there are differences between the GTR, GRX and REW blocks and intakes. where does the Cosmo engine sit in relation to them?
are the engine mounts like the REW or the older blocks?

MIKE-P-28 04-07-02 07:16 PM

The motor mounts in the rear just like the REW

itzweapon 04-07-02 08:26 PM

I'll shall honor our bet.. and buy you lunch or dinner.. your choice.. y0u freak. :]
