Project: Deals Gap
I think he was just trying to be funny too hence his "lol" at the end ... just 2 different sense of humors ...
Sounds like your getting there. Sorry if I confused you by calling the harness you need the "main" harness, thats what I always called it, seems some other people define it differently... I guess "body harness" might be more suitable...

Update 3/29 - 13 days left
Well Its been a long time since an update, but here it goes.
I have stripped the block to nothing, Installed all the block off plates, and cleaned things up a bit. (Thanks to the help of my GF, I must add).
I have the shop floor covered in parts and bolts, and a stain where all the cleaning has taken place.
I had to order a new wiring harness, as it comes to find out, the one I bought and the guy SWORE it was from a s4, ended up not being true, but after a year what are you going to do.
I have since ordered, all three new ECU harness, a Ported s4 turbo and tubular manifold, New cleaned and tested injectors, New wires, water pump, spark plugs and tons of gaskets.
The engine still hasnt been installed, I need to tap the front cover, I have the tap and pipe, and tubing im going to use, but not the right size drill bit (23/32) I wont be able to get one until Tuesday. Which really puts me behind, because I wanted to get the engine back together this weekend.
I still think getting the car done is doable, I just dont know if I can have it road legal in time.
Work has been getting in the way of finding time to work on the car. Being the first quarter of the new year means lots of paper work and taxs, so that has been keeping me pretty busy.
That is pretty much it for now,
Matt

This is a sad day in my book,
I failed to meet my first ever big goal that I set for myself.
Im back in a rut again, not waking up early, nor am I working on the 7, the lack of getting parts in was part of my problem. Followed by me not being motivated enough.
Im still trying to fight this one guy on the forum to ship my harness.
Maybe now that im not in a rush I can do it right, and do it good.

Aww man sorry to hear that. But don't get too down Deals Gap will be back next year and imagine how nice your 7 will be by then. And once you get it on the road all the hard work would have been worth the time.
It's cool man, don't beat yourself up, i was hoping to have my T2 FB done before the inspection sticker on it ran out (which was June 2007) obviously I'm way past that, almost a year, but I went back and re-did a bunch of little details I had rushed through previously.
The whole "do it right, do it once" philosophy...
Just think though, once its done it'll be awesome and you can go next year, I know I plan to at least.
Once you get the wiring let me know if you need further help with that.
