problems with oil pressure gauge

problems with oil pressure gauge

OK I have a 85 gs that I just did a full wiring and and gsl-se swap to wiring from head lights to tail lights dash everything I got the car running and it runs great but the oil pressure gauge barely moves question I have would the car run this well with low pressure or is the oil pressure switch failed any way of testing it thanks for the help

Try grounding the wire out. This should peg the gauge and let you know if that gauge and circuit are working.
