Problems

I got my 83 Rx7 running the other day. And it starts up alright but I have to idle her at 1 grand atleast before she gets warmed up than she idles fine. And after driving around for about an hour she dies than starts up and dies again. I think its the fuel pump cutting out after getting hot, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you think it's fuel-related, check the float bowls when it dies. If there's fuel in them, then I'd discount the fuel pump idea.

Does it not start again until it's cooled off? Look at the electrical system. Coils, ignitors, grounds.

How does it die? Slowly or abrupt?
