Problem

I have a '84 GSL-SE, and whenever I'm running above 3k RPMs, it starts losing power, do any of you know what my problem is?

Need more details. Mileage, mods, maintenance, etc.

Welcome to the forum and the Darkside. In my sig line is a link to the online FSMs, carb manual and other rotary related reading. Download whatever you need and start reading. There is a step by step troubleshooting guide in the engine/emissions section for the SE engines.

In the FAQs at the beginning of the 1st forum is a guide to bringing your RX7 back to life. If you haven't gone though and done all of the basic maintenance items, i.e., the the 30/60k service schedule, do that first, then work from there.

Initial thoughts that come to mind from your brief description is a plugged fuel filter and or bad main cat.

does it have all the emission stuff. If its been remmoved such as your air pump or catalytric converters or exhaust work it may be likely your aux ports arent opening. Try revving it past 3000 and watching to see if the 2 plungers below the lower manifold are opening
