Pretty Funny Story

Before I purchased my RX-7, I was checking out another one, that was for sale for $1500. I went and checked it out, and It was solid, but looked like it had been painted with a rattle can, and it was an auto But I was interested in it. I test drove it, everything was solid. I had brought $1400 cash with me, but the guy wouldn't take any less than $1500, so I told him to think about it over night. I called him the next day, and it was sold! Some one had bought it that night. I was pissed, but I kept serching, and I found my car, that I bought, but now on the local classifieds site, the RX-7 i was looking at is for sale again, the guy who bought it is trying to make profit. Its for sale for $2550, and the guy thinks it has a 4cyl engine in it hahaha! Check out the ad!

Since the guy doesn't know anything about rotarys I think you should go look at it. While you are there take off the air cleaner and pour some seafoam down the carb with out him knowing and tell him how the engine doesn't look good. Ask him to start the car and watch it smoke and offer him $1000.

Yep it happens.....similar story.

There was 79 for sale in WV. It had an old school Pacific wide-body kit and some wide *** 13's. The thing was pretty rare, especially for WV, and I was/am infatuated with wide-body FB's. It was in rough shape and didn't run but I saw the car for what it could be. The thing needed a good bit of interior, exterior, and mechanical work. The dude had it for sale for $3000. I went and looked at it, and offered him
$1000.

I told the guy I was being honest with him and the car just wasn't worth $3k. He told me that he had turned down $2500 offers... He said if it didn't sell he was going to put a V8 in it. So I said okay and went about my buisness.

About 6 months later I looked in the local BB and saw the same Rx7 for sale including a 350 and tranny for $1000. I thought about calling him just to glote....

I bought a pristine GSL-SE for $1400 a few months earlier....
