Premix and Emission Testing

Man I hate to ask anything about premix but I searched for two nights and can't find what I'm looking for (Go ahead and light your flames).

Has anyone run premix (TC-W3 2-stroke oil) without OMP AND successfully passed emission testing?

My guess is the emissions will actually get better from premix but who knows. Oh yea the mix will be 1 oz oil : 1 gal gas.

I'm planning on running an 88 TII basically stock engine with all the emissions stuff. The mods I'm considering are cold air intake, RP downpipe and high-flow cat for TII, and a RB 83-85 power pulse muffler (the chassis is an FB).

I really want to get rid of that OMP but I need to pass emissions as this is my daily driver.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Scott

p.s. Yea I also posted in the 2nd gen forum since this is a hybrid FB/FC. Also there are a lot of knowledgable people on the 1st gen forum.

I have seen threads on this subject and the consensus was that premix without the OMP should help emissions.
