I''ve read and searched all the threads and the general consensus is that the wiring was preinstalled. Looking at mine and also looking at the VB catalog it doesn't look like I have the same wiring for the power windows. My wiring looks like the connector for the rear wiper and not the power window the connector. It's the only other wiring under the console. This is for an 83, and I got 84 doors that I put on. Any suggestions???

I thought the same thing also, but my GS doesn't have the window harnesses. I was quite suprised.

Since my gray door panels are in mint condition ( 9 out of 10), I'll be keeping the cranks.

 

I've got the wiring from the doors to the inside of the car but it doesn't look like I have the wiring to the console.

 

The wiring came w/ my 81 & I converted to power windows w/ no problems.

 

Was your connector at your console little or a bigger one like they show in VB?

 

Can someone take a pic of what their harness looks like under their power window switches please!!!
