Power window install ?

I would like to install power windows in my 84gs. Are the power window connectors under the dash black. I have some black connectors under the dash on either end that are not connected to anything. I think they may be for the power windows. How many connectors are in the center console?

Piece of cake.

The buttons go in the center console and the PW motors will plug into the black, two wire plugs at the sides of the dash. The plugs should have two large wires, one green and one red.Did mine years ago,it was quite easy.
Be aware though, that power windows will never retract all the way down. There will be about 1/2" to 1" of glass protruding from the top of the door,at an angle. Its kinda annoying when you go to rest your arm on the door and its on top of the glass.....although I got used to it after a while. Also, our PW's tend to go out of alighnment occasionally,so keep the runners lubed and the glass guides tight to the window.
