power loss ! ( HELP?)

Altitude compensator valve is ok,BUT has the same problems such as, No power under load, Rough or low Idle, hesitation and lack of acceleration... when first started runs good, acts normal for the first mile or so, then like flipping a switch, the power is gone. The dealership has had it for 8 weeks now, we've changed the carb, diafram valve, and odd vac. lines. cat. convertar is clean, fule filter is new. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you read the FAQ?
(which among other things says not to take your car to a dealership, I would expect )

Are you getting the right fuel flow to the carb after your power has gone? i.e., perhaps your fuel pump is dying when it heats up?

DON'T take your car to a dealer. They probably know nothing about rotaries. Just becaust they are a Mazda dealer doesn't mean they know how to work on your car. They know about as much as you do. I would suggest taking your car to a mechanic that knows a little something about rotaries, even if you have to drive to the next town to find one it will be worth it.
