have you tested the ignitors or checked to see if they are hooked up properly?

the ignitors are the little clips on the side right? if so they are getting power and are on the right positions. do these things have points or do i have to replace the hole unit?

if an ignitor is bad, you'll get no spark on either both leading or bot trailing plugs. you can test the ignitors seperatly if you wish. if you would like i can post a pic from teh fsm explaining how to test each ignitor.

simple visual test: your trailing ignitor is in series with your tach, so you tach should bounce when you crank the engine over. If it doesn't you have a problem. Now that only covers your trailing ignitor, so you can swap ignitors to verify both, or just ground a sparkplug to the shock tower and see what doesn't have spark. Top 2 plugs are Trailing, Lower two are Leading.

if you aren't getting fuel you may want to check and see if you have a ground thats not been grounded. i performed the same swap you are doing and had the engine running on ether and couldnt figure out why i wasnt getting gas. i would get gas to the engine but the injectors wouldnt spray the fuel into the engine. there was a ground that used a bolt to ground itself to the intake manifold. i remember it was just a one wire flat circular connector(much like a washer).
