Toruki - yep - this is the HATCH drain set-up on my SA as well. No connection to the antenna motor tho, as you prob saw. Both these lines can easily be visually traced (or with your hands if you stick them in to the inner fender behind the hatch interior rear panel) up to the underside of the rear-most hatch-gutter where they press on to metal drain pipettes at each corner. Same ones you see from above with the hatch open...
Beginning to think maybe Mazda never DID run the antenna drain anywhere? seems a bizarre omission!

Hey Stu, followed your lead. And I am positive that drain never when to the exterior before this. And the OEM tube was too short to reach the grommet. Again, probably not a lot of water gets in that way. But it does seem like an oversight.

One helpful person recommended a T connection into the hatch drain. I looked into it but the relative heights don't work, and there would be pooling in the line and the possibility of backflow into the antenna drain.

Also, the car really pulls much harder now

sweet! My inner fender on that side had a goodly amount of rust inside when I discover the hose just sitting in there! glad you didn't have THAT to contend with...

Oh man, I was just in there replacing mine and it wasn't connected to anything. Thanks for asking the question, looks like I need to dig in and fix this!
