my wing is not really a pain to open the hatch. because i have my wipers i just pull on them to lift it. i will be taking that off because i dont like it and does not work. but there is like half a inch from the window and wing. i need to do alittle more work on the wing it looks to flat to get down force. just need longer ajusters. here are 2 more 7s with tuner wings.
PS: i got my wing used for $85
Edit: only one pic works.

This is a mold on wing. I can however mold a base on it so so that it can be bolted on. You will need to add another $100 to the final sale price for the extra work involved. This is the same wing that Dan S Young has on his widebody, Fwiw, the Mariah wing that I have on the widebody was priced at $436 and is out of production. The whale tail makes a great spot to set groceries when going to the store, lol.
I have pics of the wing taped on the shell in this thread:

what I wonder about is why so omany kits put covers over covers... why not make a rear bumper cover, for example, that replaces the stock one instead of having to be glued/riveted to the stock cover below the black trim.
And with many of us removing the rubber trim, one would think that bumper covers without the molded trim strips would be available.

one thing has nothing to do with the other. The stock covers are just clipped over the reinforcers. one could make urethane, ABS, or FRP replacement covers that use the stock reinforcers.

openshot, that is quite the undertaking for an inexperienced young man, I'm impressed. It's also one of the best ways to learn. Good luck with the project. Btw, you should buy my whaletail. It will look much better than the park bench style you posted earlier. I may cut you a deal on it for all of your hard work.

Would be much nicer than the "Import" wing lol. Same thing you see on civics and just laugh. Personally I wouldn't call a spoiler a performance modification (unless high speed racing of course), it's usually just cosmetic. So you might as well get something that matches the styling and era of the car...

I like the whale tail.. that was my option.. it is not the same as trochoid's but it is a whale tail...
some people think the whale tail requires a wide body kit in order to look good.. I disagree... It is all a matter of taste.. i researched and requested pictures to compare and I like the regular body kit with the whale tail... like i said.. is a matter of taste !
