Possible to have so many parts you go insane?
Hey guys,
I swear insanity is starting to set in. My floor keeps getting more and more clustered with car parts. I have posted several times about the part progress on my car, but it's awesome seeing it come together and I like to share!

Items pictured:
Optima red top
racing beat oil pan baffle
HKS SSQV
Innovate motorsports LM-1 outputing to a
Innovate motorsports XD-16 gauge
Innovate motorsports HBX-1 heat bung extender
S4 turbo rotors (new bearings and soda blasted)
Greddy 47mm wastegate
J&S knock sensor
Greddy Profec B spec-II
Mazdatrix oil filter pedistal
Rotaryshack t60-1 turbo
SS braided turbo feed and return lines
Rotaryshack preturbo oil filter
Greddy turbo manifold
Aeromotive fuel filter
Aeromotive fuel A1000 pump
Aeromotive fuel regulator
BarryGrant 12" -10an fuel heat sink
10an SSbraided fuel feed line
8an SSbraided fuel return
KG parts fuel rails
Greddy Elbow
Polished FD UIM and TB
Half polished S5 LIM
S5 LIM to S6 UIM adapter plate
The scary part is that is just the start of it. Stuff I still need:
Grannyspeedshop 8.8" diff
Microtech LT10s
Ignition setup
S5 Rotor housings (new)
All engine seals
Oil pressure regulator
Greddy oil catch can
TII transmission
Custom driveshaft
17x12 rims out back
Battery relocation kit
Intercooler piping
Exhaust
Laptop for tuning
Moog pitman arm
Powersteering setup of some sort
Fuel tank
5X Autometer cobalt gauges
Water/alchol injection
But I guess who ever said building a project car was cheap? Just it kinda sucks that the final product seems so far away. Oh well it's a blast putting this thing together and deciding on components.

Ya, im pretty confident the whole fuel system will support a 800hp setup. Overkill? Hell yes, but fuel starvation is the last thing I want with a turbo beast. The fuel rail is literally large enough that you can drop a pen/pencil right through it, quite a bit of fuel...
I figure do it right the first time, things are expensive but cheaper than buying everything twice.
A big problem is i'm working so many hours that I usually am too tired to work on the car. But it will be done eventually!

Got mine here: http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/greddyelbow.htm

I'll help you keep clean. How about it.. send me all those parts I got the prefect place for them. You will never have to worry about getting your foot stuck in that turbo, or tripping on those long fuel hoses. lol
i'm feeling the same thing right now. I have a mountain of parts for my turbo buildup that is ever increasing in size, but as you say the list of things still needed seems to keep getting bigger as well. Haha oh well it'll all be worth it in the end....

Only problem I can think of is i'm going to be feeding my A1000 with a modified FB fuel tank with a FC sending unit/pump. I know you can hook 2 pumps up to that controller there, but at different voltages the pumps would not create the same output which could possibaly cause starvation could it not? I guess you kind of have to test it out to find what works.
Dan, I don'r know if you are aware of it, but there is a mod/setup, to install 2 Walbro fuel pumps, intank. I ran across a thread in the 2nd gen section a while back on it. I'm still not sure if you really even need the Aeromotive pump. I understand the overkill safety issue, but the dual intank pump may be a better option.
I'm assuming that you are doing the parallel fuel rails mod too?

Are you planning to do a surge tank or something?
That Aeromotive is all you need.

Hmmm interesting, how do you have the lines hooked up to your fuel tank? I know I was looking at your fuel thread before in the archive but the pictures don't work anymore.
So your just gravity feeding your A1000 with no problems? I was thinking about going with a 2 pump setup similar to what the FC guys are running (like Reted recommends) using the FC intank to feed a A1000 but now after reviewing the picture I do see that it is for a setup with a surge tank... If you have any pictures of how you have your inlet and outlet lines plumbed I would greatly appreciate it!
