Popping FAJS 48 DCOE (Weber Knockoff) CARB

FAJS 48 DCOE Side draft (Weber Knockoff) carburetor on 1985 GSL 12A 5 speed manual that pops as I drive along. It does the popping less when the motor is cold. When I accelerate, the popping occurs and the carburetor spits gas out through the air horns. Any thoughts on what is wrong with carburetor?

Compression test it. The only time I’ve ever seen a Weber backfire out of the air horns are when they’re blown.
