Plugs in an S4

Putting an S4 engine in my first gen and I like be using the old ignition system. I am going to buy plugs for it and I am wondering if I should use the second gen Hei system plugs or the same plugs I have been using?

Use the second gen plugs. The engine is designed for them, and probably won't run right with out them

Use the plugs that were designed for the ignition system you're using.

So, one of my concerns is that I have heard that the wrong plug can reach in and touch the apex seals. Should I worry about this?

Autolites can do that. Just get whichever NGK plugs that were designed to match the ignition system you're using.

Hello folks,
Most of the folks have spoken with (as well as a guy from Mazdatrix who has the same setup) tend to agree buy plugs that match the ignition system.
Thanks
