Pilot bearing removal made really easy

Guys I've been doing this for years but lately watching you suffer. It's time to let my 'free' pilot bearing tool out. Quit paying big money for tools you can make it 10 minutes.

Nifty little trick. You should have someone hold the camera next video though so we can see everything going on.

I got a few little tricks like that. Lol time to share.

Trick to it is you have to knock all the needles out tho. But most time they're gone anyway. Or it don't matter if you do since your changing it.

Anybody wanna help with this?

not bad for a home made unit. i bought the Mazda pilot bearing tool and i feel as though it was the best $120 i have ever spent on a tool. when using a dent puller you will need one with more than a 3lb weight. often times the race swells and sticks in the eccentric shaft from heat and can require the lip of a tool on its inner lip in order to remove it. nicely done though.

Actually you only need a dent puller if it sticks. Just a regular cordless impact or drill with s 14mm socket pulls it out

Shouldn't need a Facebook account. It's marked public.

One other plus for the Mazda tool; it doubles as a dowel-rod puller - - with the head removed it threads right in there like it was made for it.
