Pictures of my ride. What do you think so far?
Well here are some shots of what I've got so far. Its 10x better than it was when I got my mits on it. As for the rims I was torn if I shoulda done them like I did, or just plain, like they are stock.... I think they look ok like this, and they'll have to do until I can get some pimp'n rims. The sidemarker lights light up blue also. I've got a 2nd gen spoiler painted and waiting to go on, just need to shave the antenna, and relocate it. Thanks for all who've helped me out on this forum. This car probably wouldn't even be running without all of your help. So let me know what you guys think? If only I had more $$$ this thing would be mint.
Sorry bout the dirtyness, I can't seem to wash the car without it raining within 24hours after washing it..... so I just said the hell with it. Enjoy!

the blue rims are very creative. No offense I don't think they go with the color of the car. MAybe a gunmetal would have been better. But hey it looks good way to go. Keep up the good work.

Thnx for the input. Most people that've seen the paint on the rims thought it looked good. Maybe they were just bein nice, or maybe its that they're not rotorheads.

Iit was a can of spray paint, I am pretty sure the paint can said it was Anodized on it....if that makes sense... I don't even kno what anodized means.. What I did was.....
1) used an highspeed air tool with a wire brush on the end, and took off all the old coating.
2) mask off what you don't want to paint
3) paint it
4) put a clear coat on them that's meant for rims.
I messed around for awhile until I found something that I thought looked ok. I just took an extra rim I had laying around. Threw a bunch of blue paint on it. Just using thinner and a rag to remove paint from certain areas to see how it looked. stood back looked at it for abit. Then looked somemore. Became indecisive about painting them at all. Then said the hell with it and did it.
The results weren't 100% perfect. But they look find from a distance. Will have to do until I can get rid of this silly bolt pattern, and can afford some rims.

I like the idea of the colorful rims. I'm thinking if I can get ahold of some stock rims to ride around town on, I'd paint em red (goes with the future scheme of my car: Silver/Red)

Give her a nice wash and wax and STOP OFFROADING
I'd also remount the tires or remove the white lettering. Not a terrible fan of that on newer (Newer meaning non vintage.) sports cars... Classic muscle cars, trucks and such... Okay... Nimble little curve killer... Not so much.
Rubber ducky antenna needs to go too, but it's cheap and gives you radio reception, so I understand. It's kinda hard to figure out an antenna that goes with the car's lines... Most of em make the car look like an RC toy...
