EDIT: Crap, won't let you link to it..

She's Nice.. You must be proud.

I like that you painted it one color. I have never been too crazy about the Limited's 2 tone color scheme.

Thats the way the 83 limteds came. Just one color "Chateu (sp?) Silver" Only badassrx7's limited is two tone. I think he said the dealer did that at the original owners request.

Nice looking limited dude! A lot better than mine. haha

Are you *sure*? I have seen many Limited with Two Tone Colors. Not necessarily the same as Bad-***'s RX-7 either.

Almost all had some sort of burgandy tone either on top or bottom..

All had the Nicer Rims though..

Thanks the car was painted before I got it. I never saw the car before the paint job. But I think it was always one color.

Woodward! I went to the Dream Cruise today. It was my virgin voyage to this event... overwhelming. We just walked Woodard from 12 1/2 to 14 Mile during the afternoon. I have never seen so many cool vintage vehicles! Gawd! The 63-67 vettes were everywhere. So were 55-57 T-birds.

I only saw two RX-7s: a nice black 3rd gen driving I-696 on the way east, and a rusty 1st gen parked on Woodward.

I will be buying my first gen in about a week. A bit late for this year, but I'll be ready for 2003!

BadAssRX-7: You forgot the left and right pieces of windshield trim that are incorrectly painted.

Mr.ImportGuy: I love your car! It looks good without the trim. Nice paint job!!!

Thanks but 85rx7 the trim isn't painted wrong, it's not on yet. I have it all but it needs to be repainted black before I put I on.

Really a nice looking car. I don't remember the last time I saw a 1st gen 7 on the road here in NJ. It seems like it's been years.

Just a tip on your interior. SEM vinyl paint in firethorn red is damn near the stock color and can brighten up the rear plastic very well. Its worth a check on a can to see if you like it. paint the back side of a panel to see how it looks. and use the prep they sell for it or the paint will fisheye on you. Nice ride!
