Eh, I guess that's just where I differ from you guys. I'd restore it to perfect then just take it to car shows and and maybe the occasional vintage race.
I mean if you want one to beat on and race then build one that's not that damn rare. There's a reason that car has been stored.

its a factory PP engine, just like the comp book

its kinda neat that the guys who ran these cars are all still around...

legoken, I've got family in Albany and know folks who would be interested in the car. If the car is available and you can't swing the cash, please shoot me a PM.

Damn, I missed this thread the first time around. Amazing. Good luck pursuing this car, but if nothing else at least you got to crawl around under it for a few days.

Yeah, I have been spending a lot of time under my car lately, so that sway or panhard bar stood out to me. I think it is a panhard as it is in the location of my panhard.

I would love to have this car. Clean it up a little, and run it in vintage races. There is very little chance of damaging it that way as you are running with a bunch of babied multi-million dollar cars and no one is pushing or going ***** out.

Beautiful find!

Purchased "Wilma" last week! I'm already tearing into her to make her run.
