Picture request ::AC relay::

I need a picture of the AC relay for 79-80 please. I think my wires are reversed somewhere. I just fixed the AC. It works great, but the solenoid does not open unless I tap a 9v battery against the terminals. I believe there is a possibility that the relay wires are mismatched so I need a picture of the wires please. Thanks!

When I tap the compressor switch wire on the + side of the solenoid it opens with the ground wire from the whit plug installed BTW.

I'm about to embark on the same project in my 80. Are you sure the 2 switches for pressure
and temp are wired and working down on the passenger side of the engine bay. There should be
2 bullets leads that come out of the evaporator and thru the firewall. These connect in series
with the pressure switch in the lower AC line going into the firewall. That pressure switch and a
temp switch located under the dash near the evaporator are wired in series and if either one
is not working right the solenoid will not trigger and let the compressor run.

I think you can test this somehow by connecting the bullets leads together but don't quote me
on that.

The compressor runs constantly I think. Might switch off here and there and I dont notice. What I did was splice into the black wire going to the clutch and run it to the + terminal on the solenoid. I just unclipped the - wire on the white plug and ran it to the other terminal on that solenoid. So now the idle throttle actuator works when the clutch kicks on.

Only thing is it seems to be sticky. Might need to WD40 it up or check the clearancing.

I felt like i deserved a medal for figuring out that you can use a 9v battery to test solenoids!
