nice engine ...

2 questions though ...
first, what kind of oil filter is that? and second, where did you buy those air filter socks? i've been trying to get some longer air horns for my Dell'Orto (CB Performance has not responded to my e-mail ) but i want to get my Dell setup like that.

Its a Mazda oil filter.

The carb came with long velocity stacks on it, and those filters. I got it from mazdaracing.com, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Its an ollllld Mazda filter from the 80s. My RX-2 came with a lot of them.

Nothing is wrong with the foam filters, its the company that I got them from that sucks.

MazdaRacing.com Foam Air Filter Kit

Can't find a big enough air filter for your Weber? These individual foam filters are exactly what you need. Don't hold back your engines performance, get the air filter your rotary demands. Installs in minutes with simple hand tools. Quality constructed with cleanable/re-useable material. Clean and re-oil as needed. Fits 45 & 48 DCOE Weber Carbs. Supplied as set of 2 for 1 carb.

Set = $40.00 (in stock)

They won't even fit the way they are shown in the picture! The oil filler tube is in the way.

I had like 10 of them still sealed in the plastic, new in the box.

I have a few REALLY old parts boxes, with the Mazda written in the old style from the early '70s...
