I'm planning on doing more work today and MORE work on the Interior, so I'll post more pics later this afternoon. Right now I'm waiting for some fittings to arrive so I can finish up my Turbo Oil Return / Feed Lines.

There are two places you can do the Oil Return.

First one is in the Oil Pan itself

Second one is in the Front Cover

For the Oil Pan from what I understand, You take a 5/16's" Punch and punch a hole into the Oil pan towards the front and high then Tap into it and screw in a Barbed Brass Fitting and Clamp the hose down

For the Front Cover there's a Marked out hole under the Oil feeder thingy majiggy (hehe, Thought ya'll might like that) and you drill that hole out, Tap it and do the same as above.

For the Front Cover you should have it off if you're gonna do it. For the Oil Pan it's not necessary that you have it off.

FROM WHAT I understand

I was in the oil return predicament at one time, too. I went to the oil pan.

I bought a t3/t4 oil return flange This one off ebay they have smaller ones, too.

Took off the oil pan and drilled the holes in the pan to match the flange. The flange is a little big and you cant reach the bolts that secure the oil pan to the engine if its in place. So I tack welded to nuts on the inside of the pan. That way I can put the flange on after I put the oil pan back on. Wasn't that hard. I will get some pics in the future. I will be changing the front strut inserts here shortly and will snap a pic. I just used a $3.00 3/4 in hose barb from advanced auto for the fitting. And used a small section on 3/4 inch heater hose for the return. Simple and cheap

not too bad. Just undid the two enginemount bolts and jacked it up by the tranny. had to drop the pick up tube to help get the oil pan out. Then just installed in reverse order. I think the whole thing took about an hour.

Well I did something this evening that my friend has been begging me to do..............I got rid of all the Air Conditioning Unit and Hoses.

This enabled me to slide the Intercooler straight down with no problems what-so-ever.

Question though. Did you modify your Rad Mounts? Were you able to use the Stock Rad or did you go and get a smaller Rad to fit between the Intercooler Tubes?

Hey Boriqua,
If youre planning to race this car then I say go ahead and remove the AC..... If youre NOT.... I advice not to. You'll be sorry later.

12A Turbo with AC.... and it runs fantastic.

Thanks for the Advice about the AC..............

I've already taken it out.

But that's ok, because I am planning on Doing a little 1/8 mile Racing with it.

yes, i used the stock radiator mounts and the stock radiator. mines an 84 model so it's the big guy. i just got a sawzawl and cut in to them little by little till it sat evenly and nice. i will be keeping the air divider piece that goes in the front to help direct air to it. i was going to put it lower but ran in to alot of mounting problems. hope i helped
