I haven't had it long enough to even burn a quarter of a tank, so I can't say on the mileage.

As for fuel mileage, it's low, to be expected.
I'm jetted for maximum power and I get 12.5 MPG. I don't drive much on the highway- it's all windy roads around here. But I drive the **** outta her!
I'm working on a special vacuum secondary box modification that will help with economy.
12.5 MPG for a 1.1 liter engine certainly raises some eyebrows. But if you want power, it takes fuel.
So is it the carb? ...Or is the carb just bringing out the true thirsty nature of the rotary engine?

Drove it back and forth to work today... (45mi round trip) OMG, I love it!!! I'm sure my results are going to vary significantly from what a 12a would, but...
There is a VERY long steep hill going from Spokane up to Fairchild AFB. Normally I can cruise in fifth gear at 65 with little to no problem going up this hill. (note: I have higher rear end gears)
Going up it this morning in fifth gear, it was BEGGING me to floor it!! Damn, that was nice. Coming home, I barely had to hit the gas at all... Very smooth. I like it. You never know, with my 13b, I may keep around the same gas mileage... I know I just needed more air!!
will update after I go through a complete tank.

4 port "frankenstein motor" Looks like someone built it with 12a end plates and used SE housings. Then they used either a Rx4 or REPU intake on it.
It works excellently now!!! I've been daily driving it and the gas mileage has definitely gone down, but OMG, the performance is incredible!!! Oh, and I'm still using my stock fuel pump... Haven't had any problems doing that yet, so...
I did one other thing to it cause it was still idling kinda rough. I tried that pouring water down the carb slowly while someone keeps the engine revved. The car purrs like a kitten now. I tell ya, the Rotary engine never ceases to amaze me.
