CA pics of my SA22C finally getting ready for paint

Its been on the back burner for a bit but I think im gonna have it ready for 7stock!!

I cant wait!!!

It was once green, white, metallic purple.. so many layers of paint, old bondo and fiberglass

We took it all the way down in most places. I had all the fiberglass reinforced where it was molded to the body too.

Anybody ever see one of these bodykits? Made by a company named "AGENT" from japan

I found this about 8 years ago I think. Some guys brother brought it over from okinawa back in the day

Anyways I will post pics once it gets sprayed..

Its getting painted a custom dark metallic green

Love the molded bodykit look, especially the spoiler. Please, please paint the door (window frame) black and paint all the windshield trim, mirrors and locks black as well.

rhd

its original..
its missing the dash though. The previous owner ripped it out thinking he was gonna turn it into a race car. I have one I cut up out of a lhd and fiberglassed but it looks like ***. I am debating on getting an aluminum one made or just have mine smoothed out and painted

Love the car. how much was it for the paint job and what parts did you have to do to get it preped. I need a repaint on mine but I have limited options since I have the burgundy interior.

paint job

we probably have over 150 hours in bodywork on this car. It was a lot of work but well worth it. My bodyman is the ****. He did a very good job. The paint is a custom mix with a lot of different gold metallics and green. We laid down a black basecoat and 4 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear. It looks really dark green, almost black from a distance but when the light hits it... It looks awesome. Its going to be a bitch to match if I ever need to. I have leftover paint for when I mess up my bumper. I will take new pics this week. I have too busy working to work on it.
