pics of my engine swap/carb conversion

heres some pics of my 6 port b motor swap into my 84 gsl and my 48dco sidedraft carb setup

swap consisted of the 6 port motor, modification to the engine brace to allow proper fit for the B motor, GSLSE gastank, fuel lines, fuel pump/filter, gslse radiator

its running the mallory 4309 3 port return style regulator, weber 48DCO side draft carb, RB upper intake for weber, series 4 second gen lower intake manifold, Racing beat header piped to the stock muffler (tinny as hell!) no emissions, removed port actuators, thats all i can think of right now

enjoy

and here is a picture of the car

This was nice to see... I currently have a Holley 600CFM carb for my 13B stockport 6 port ... Carlos Lopez or CLR Motorsports suggested i go with Weber DCO "Sidedeaft" but didnt and now I cant wait to finally get one ... SO I am looking for the 6 port manifold .. anyone know where ? 786-286-3351

racing beat sells the upper portion you will have to use a second gen lower manifold, or if need be dan atkins of atkins rotary has some nice one piece manifolds

Nice setup you got there. Its somewhat similar to mine, except my engine is streetported and I'm going to run an Edelbrock 600 cfm carb with a Jay-Tech intake manifold. I'll be running premix, so the OMP is not an issue. Holley 45psi FI pump that runs about 90gph with a holley return style regulator on an S3 gas tank (mabey). Going to be full custom dual exhaust like the FC has.

How much power do you think your car's putting down? I would think around 150 RWHP.

my guess is 175 at teh crank so 145-150 at the wheels, she pulls pretty hard, i can beat a semi-stock gsl by about 6 carlengths in the 1/4 mile
