I was half expecting to see a V8 in there. Since you didnt feed up the engine bay pics off the start. nicely done. Little more weight reduction, pull the plastic panels off the E-brake lever. Also helps to remove evidence of the hidiuos red intereior. That and i would like to see how you mounted the battery and where.

I'm in the prosess of stripping the interior and the un-needed parts in the engine bay outa my 83, got a little more out today. I will be replacing the interior from the doorpanels forward with the grey interior of an 85. That and swapping all my performance parts over.

umm it was 4 ss blaster coils and 2 msd diggy 6.. no distributor cap or rotor but im not sure how well it worked caz the motor had a blown rear apex seal and i dont know if it was like that b4 or if it was from the ignition

i can go into more detail if you would like of how it was wired im really not sure if it was good or bad

I still say grab the turbo out of a semi or a bus and let 'er rip! Sure, it'll be a huge lag but that's what you have the nitrous for, dammit. Feed the N2O and then watch that bad boy roar. Oh, and don't forget the plywood wing and shiny stickers. They gotta be shiny or they won't give you horsepower.

But, with all kidding aside, I like the engine setup. When do you plan on having it all finished?

So what're you doing on here then? Go out and make your own. I'm sure some duct tape, chewing gum, and magic marker will work just fine. I love the roll cage, but then again I'd like to have one myself. Y'know what would be cool to have in it? The Helion Extinguisher setup like most race cars have. (I *think* that's the name of it, my memory is failing) That'd be awesome. And, are you thinking of a strut tower brace for the front?

Are you going to take some photos with you in action at the track when the time comes around? A nice video would be wicked.

A matching set of front wheels would help the pain my eyes are feeling. That and possily unroll the extra fender material or fender flares for the rear. Also be careful throwing that shifter in 3rd that gauge panel looks like a knuckle buster. Finally love the FLIP FLOPS with those oil filters, nice touch. But all in all she looks like she is going to hall some major ***.

there is a matching set for the front.... and the car is going to the body shop to get the rear widened. and 3rd wont hit the gauge panel unless you brake the shifter off is like 3 or 4 inches away from the panel.... yeah thats my friend in that pic with the flip flops on..and yes it hauls ***. with the stocker rims and bald tires it about jerked the fronts off the ground

how are they going to widen it? you get it weighed yet? should be well under 2000 im guessing. mine was at 2200 with full interior. How's the interior noise compaired to a stock car with a loud exhaust?

Im thinking of doing that to the doors leave just enough material to put the panels back on. I was also thinking of cutting the interior support out of the hood too. Just leaving the outside edge. Figured as long as noone tried to sit on the hood It would be fine.
