I love that color (I'm a bit biased though).

Yeah it's a nice invisible color... that way it doesn't attract too much attention!

that and silver... my Subaru was silver, and it was like there was an SEP field around the car. It's shaping up to look the same way for the silver GSL Nobody notices it... (PERFECT!)

probably should clarify that... used to be one of the prerequisites for using the Internet was that you had to read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series... they issued you the books when you got an IP number

http://www.wikipedia.com/wiki/SEP_field was the first relevant page Google spewed up.

Anyone have/know where to find a color chart, so you can look up the color code on the underhood plate?

I know my '80 was Aurora White (WN I think) and I'd like to know what the '85 was. (Was, it's been repainted apparently)

Hey, this car was allready listed on ebay like 2 weeks ago, it went for over $4200. I guess the high bidder didn't pay up?! Opportunity for someone else I guess.

You guys really like the tender blue, my 85 GSL is the same color, I never much cared for it, but maybe its cause it was never shiny... The car is now in fulle prima grey primer. I have been debating after the 13bt swap what color to paint it. I was thinking of the a deep blue with pearl, but since everyone here likes it so much, maybe ill keep the same color ... I do like the fact that if it reamins the factory color then I dont have to paint the firewall and door jambs

That's a big plus. We all agree using paint codes from other gen rx7s is fine, but outside paint codes/colors is a no no.

You might also check which medium blue the 2nd gens had and compare the colors.
