because it kept blowing fusable links and making my gauges go crazy

just to get it out of the storage place for now it dont run right the carb needs rebuilt and new coils. I ordered a new intake and carb for it and am waiting for it to be delivered and then its strait home then a quick tune up and a 8hour drive strait to lyons NY.

it was posted for sale on here its only about 20min from my house if i walk there about 3 if i drve. I passed by it every day on my way to work. The guy who sold to me is a great guy but works some wierd hours and I went and looked at it about 7pm and had to leave to go look at a car that this guy said had all of this work done to it and it was the fastest thing he drove. It was a 88 300zx NA had to follow the guy out into like the middle of knowhere. Ok i live in west virginia and ive been to places out here to look at stuff that I thought I would never get back. Ok we get there and its so dark you cant see a thing at all. and we pull out into this field. and there grass and weeds about 4.5 foot tall and I dont see a car. the goy drives his truck and theres a car under a car cover in this field. he pulls it off and there sits the god awfullest piece of crap in the world and the guy wants a grand for it. we had to jump it to get it started. and then it wouldnt pull its self out of its tracks. so we leave and head back home ad its about 11 now so i call the guy with the first gen and wanted to get it running. SO he meets us out there again its now midnight. and all i have to do is put gaqs in it and block off all the vacuum leeks. using what i had on hand namly cardborrd and praying. got it alll blocked off but i think i missed some stuff not to sure. so it cranks of 2 times and starts with no exaust on it so i shut it off in a hurry. So me ad the owner plan a time for the next day to go out there so i can hear it run and I tell him if it will start and not smoke and pull its self out side the gate ill right you the check right then and there. It started right up didnt have alot of power and wouldnt idle but with a little finese i pulled it outside the gate and wrote the check.

Ok i thought I was gonna drive it home that evening when i would ad have some body follow me. but we got in it and started off and got out into the road and tried to mash the gas and go nothing the revs would just drop. so i got down to the bottom of the hill the storage place and head out the little strecth of road because i knew i was gonna need a run at it. So i take off got it up to about 55 and punch it and then again the revs drop so now im praying coast up hill and surprisingly it made it. So i called the owner of the storage place and tell them i want to rent a space. there like ok well send our son out ot go over everything. the son shows up and its my friend from school. and he owns the place and stores all his tool there. and i have accsess to them. so thats why i do all my work at the ministorage place.

 

oh yeah i dontr have a garage i live on the side of a mountain and all the room i have is enought to park a chevy corsica and it sticks about half way into the road.
