Permatex spray sealant

Guys got a PSA for you. Still early, but I put about 5 coats of this stuff on the seams of my leaky oil pan.
Drove it a few hours today, zero leak!
I’m cautiously optimistic..

I suppose that could work as a temporary fix until you are ready to reseale the oil pan. I would image you would have to clean the seam very well to get it to stick properly. I'm curious how it lays on and if it makes a mess when sprayed.

I agree, mostly curious as this came up while searching other folk's posts on resealing the oil pan. Right now I'm cleaning up and seeing where the leaks are really coming from.
