passenger side rear knock

i have a knocking sound everytime i hit the gas and hit the brakes.

i did notices the other day when i had the rear wheels off that on the passenger side...behind the axle in the left hand corner (looking at the passenger wheel well) there is a rubber bushing thing that attaches to the frame it looks like and then to a bar (linkage) and the hole for the linkage bolt has ripped. if you cant understand what im saying i can get pic of it tomorrow

my question is...is this why i have that horrible knock?

Thanks

Brad

Miserable darn thing anyway. Your sway bar bushings are shot.they can easily be replaced ,or you can live with the rattle ,or they tell me the sway bar can be removed. Search.

did you take the dead body out of the back yet? That might be what's causing it....and the foul smell back there too.

Another thing you might want to check is the rear-end mount too if nothing else has helped.

I experience the "snap oversteer" thing first hand last night. It was 2:00 in the morning, and I was messin around in a parking lot. I took a turn at about 30mph and when everything loaded up just right, the back end just swung out. There was no saving it. Didn't hit anything, but I was scared shitless.
