parts swap, just curious. (82 vs. 85)

Whats up everyone. I have a couple of quick, easy questions for you guys about parts compatability. Right now I have a '82 base model, and i'm sick of battling all the **** that the PO hacked on it. What i'm curious about is this: I think i'm buying a '85 base model over thanksgiving break, and I want to swap all my parts from my '82 to my '85. I have:

RB suspension
Tociko Blue's
RB full exhaust
RB strut tower brace

Everything else i'm pretty sure will swap over, including motor and rear end (both are shot on car i'm buying).

Thanks

Jim

Exhaust will since all RB systems are pretty much the same.

If i put my '85 RB exhaust in the '82, it has to work the other way around

Jim, you could of found all of this out by going to racing beat or mazdatrix's website. It is all there. :-)

And , yes the exhaust will interchange as long as you use the connecting pipe and muffler from your existing system.

Well, might as well use this forum for my own question. Will the master and slave cylinder from an 82 FB fit a 85 12A? What about an 85 13b?

Mazdatrix.com
rockauto.com
blackdragonauto.com

Go to any of the sites. Usually Mazdatrix is the easiest to view the parts because they are mazda specific. :-)

Also do a search with the words parts interchange or parts interchangeability. I believe we started a thread sometime ago on parts.
