actualy, if you look past all of the CRAP sitting in the car, the body is in great shape... Even in the huge closeups of the fenders there is no rust. I wish mine had that problem....

Also, you guys notice the WRX sitting behind it?

Yeah carbon has probally stuck the seals forver in that amount of time

Why the hell isnt there anything like that around here?
Id buy that SOB in a minute

Humm checking the photo anyone notice a flywheel nut in the back? I bet this thing is minus the damn motor and trans? Why else would there be a flywheel nut and all that stuff

Theres aslo a headlight and an intake manifold in the pass floor board ?
I wonder if the body pics are taken before the interior pics?

find out the VIN from him.. it was built in '78 (not '79 like he says) cause it has no passenger side mirror. I have another one just like that, except silver, hardly any rust, real great shape. It's in Southfield, MI in case any of you are interested in it, I'd ditch it for $500 could make a sweet restoration.

Yeah, but the '78's were sold as early '79 models over here.

Also, while I'm nitpicking, it would have a manufacturer's serial #, not a VIN, 'cause standard VIN's hadn't been invented when the car was made...

I'd nab it up and do the nostalgia rebuild on it but the cost of getting it from there to here are the same as just getting one here... And that's not including what the car is currently going for.
