Panasport 4x110 w/ offset?

I've stumbled across a set of Panasport 4x110 wheels. Two are 8" wide, two are 7" wide. They have an offset marked on them of "18". I don't quite understand how offset works, I'm embarrassed to say. Will these work on my STOCK base model without any tweaking of anything?

thanks!

if the car isn't too low, that should be the biggest rim combo that fits under the stock fenders. i can fit 225's on a 7" inch rim, but you might want 205 front and 225 rear

I can't quite tell, but from the pics I've seen of the wheels and tires, it looks like 195/50/15 and 205/50/15. Does that sound right? And if so, with this offset of '18', will I have issues? I have a completely stock setup. Pardon any ignorance on my part. thanks.

EDIT - Just talked to the guy and it's 7" and 6" in width. I guess that makes more sense?

Okay, next question. Assuming these are genuine Panasports, what would be a good price? The look like the ones Ray was talking about back in 2012 (post #3)

You don't say anywhere whether or not you are looking at 13" or 15". I have a set of nice Magroads (panasport-style) in 13x7 with perfect offset listed in the "Wheels and Tires" section of the forum. They are $300 for the set plus shipping.

I have "Real Rotas" which if i recall are basically the same thing. They are 4X110 15x7 front and 15x8 rear not sure of offset.

I have a 1985 GS with stock rear drums and no LSD, and I had to shave the lug bolts down a little due to the rear ones being used on a prior LSD rear disk car.The stock length was rubbing on the spring on top in the middle, that works the shoes for the drum setup.

Other than that my car is stock height
just wanted to give my info.

Thx
