painting over powdercoat?

i had my window trim and driprails powdercoated. i want to paint them bodycolor, and was wondering if there is any special prep i should take into consideration. any help would be great. thanks.

Youd have to scuff the powdercoating so the paint would stick. If you PC'd them why the change of heart? You could always sell them to another member in exchange for theirs which you could strip, sand and paint any colour you like.

i could, but time is of the essence. its in the paintshop right now, painted, sans mirrors and doorhandles. i guess i could pull the trim off a parts car, but i think its actually damaged on the other car. how much would the powdercoated ones be worth?
