Paint schemes - Your opinion???
Ok, I had a buddy Photoshop a pic of my car in a couple of colors, not the exact colors but "kinda like" the colors I'm leaning towards. I am sick of black, it doesn't show well in photos and I'm looking to add vinyl graphics in the future. For right now I'm just kicking around ideas, something different instead of the same old stuff.( I know it looks like a 240sx color scheme, but that's what I like at this minute in time)
So flame away guy's, shoot me some input, I'm fire proof!

Personally I would drop the black to where the pinstriping was on stock cars (see pic). Thats what I plan on doing but mine is gonna be blue on top black on bottom.
edit: if its a choice between those I also say orange.

Terrified.
I personally don't like either of the colors, but I would much rather see the orange than that green. If you went with a darker green I would go with the green. Either way I definitely think you should keep the top black. I think that looks really good, I would just go with colors that don't stand out nearly as much.

definately would either do a darker green or a burnt orange ...personally i thought about the same paint scheme but in an artic or championship white with black top, cf hood, black moldings and slightly smoked tails.. but yeah i would go with a no on the vinyl stuff too imo

it is just a photoshop lol, I think that there is to much green maybe a little more white. And a different shade of green.

A really good paint job in either of those colors would be quite impressive (not to my taste, but it's your car). However, a mediocre paint job will look like total crap. If your going to beg to be noticed, you better do it right.

Thanks for all the feedback fellas.
I started this idea with a shade of green in mind and I think I'm going to stick with the green(the wife like's it too). The top, wiper panel and hood will be black(hood will be vented, louvered or CF w/vent) the rest will be whatever green I finally settle on. I got some major work ahead befor I tackle the body/paint. I still need 180-250hp n/a first, once the shop is finished I can start disassembling my 13b 4port SP an BP motors and decide what will work best based on the condition of the internals of the 2 motors.

If you want more ideas/feedback on the 2 tone, heres my red and black 84.Ive had this sceme for about 8 years now.First time round was a cheapo paint job.The current paint and bodywork is only about 2 years old and took almost 3 years to execute/finish/pay for.
I got the idea from the NSX,Eclipse and Camaros.I think it looks great so long as the windows are black.I thought about going black on the hood too,but figured more red would be sportier. Dupont 916 Primary Red and Mercedes Toner.......
The black hood with the black top looks good, but Im not a personal fan of the candy/neon colors.I like solids with lots of gloss....

Not keen on the two first schemes, but I like the red/black combination in the last two photos. They look similar to the original Mazda Sunrise Red. I saw a great looking combination a few years back, black roof with red body and the black rubber strip which really set the car up as looking low, sleek and fast.
