Paint Opinions?

So the money has almost gotten itself together for me to finally get the RX-7 fixed and painted. I wanted to see what people think will look best.

The maroon pinstripes will be removed and the black bumper strips will be removed.

1) all Sunbeam Silver

2) Sunbeam Silver, Gloss Black roof and pillars

3) Sunbeam Silver, Tornado Silver roof and pillars

If I go with 2 or 3 I'll probably tint the windows a bit to try and blend in the glass w/ the darker upper surfaces.

(anyone with photoshop skills are welcome to try and put something together to illustrate 2 and 3)

Either way, I'm super excited with the thought of having the exterior done

Wish me luck!

I would go with a body color roof. IMHO they look better.

I am more of the purist and would say Sunbeam all the way along with keeping all the original black trim. If you have to go two tone, I would think that the Tornado would go better with the Sunbeam being they are both a metallic color. I am waiting to see a black and white 7 (anyone got pics of one?).

Single color is my personal preference, as I just came in to take a break while the epoxy coat is flashing on mine right now.

Time to go back for a second.

Hrm, so that's 3 votes for #1 (repaint stock Sunbeam Silver) and 1 vote each for the two-color idea.

I am somewhat partial to the stock color (tho after 20 years it's hard to imagine what it'll look like with fresh paint).

Anyone else with ideas / opinions?

Go to the last posts, and check out the 2-tone car. I was thinking of doing that, but now I'm leaning towards a solid orange.
