Owners Manual mistakes...with pics

i recently read a thread here about having the owners manual and the literature that came with your car and how that kinda completes your car. i agree. its really neat to have that stuff. i recently bought an 85 GSL and i am already in love with the car. of course, i'm still in love with my 80 leather sport and my 84 gsl-se, but at least i'm not cheating by owning other sports cars as i have in the past. either way, i figured i'd post a pic of the literature i have with my 85 GSL. after that initial picture is a pic i found in my owners manual. i found that it shows how to pry off a hub cap. a hub cap!!! when did the 7 ever come with hub caps?? never to my knowledge!!! i find this as a mistake in the owners manual. i'm not driving an 85 GLC!!! i'm driving a friggen RX-7! so, what other mistakes have you guys found in any of your owners manuals???

my literature:

According to the parts fiche, there IS a full disc hubcap that was available. I haven't seen one, though. Must have been an option for the base model with steel wheels. I have seen a few of the wheels.....

An old aquantence of mine found that most old 70s Opel 13inch wheel covers will fit and won't come off unless pried off. I found that interesting when he showed me, to say the least.

you have to factor in how popular hubcaps were in the 80's too... maybe they were expecting the cars with steelies to end up with hubcaps on them from the dealer or something.

We must remember who controls the production of the car, the bean counters. Steel wheels are cheap to stamp out, alumunum and magnesium wheels were cast, no CNC billet ones back then.

Way back when, mags came on high end cars, muscle cars and some sport cars. I find it odd that the SA had 3 different mags to choose from, along with the steel wheels. With the introduction of the FB, everybody got the same wheel except for the LE. Bean counters strike again.

The wild success in the first 2 years probably convinced the bean counters that people would buy RX-7s no matter what few crappy wheels they put on them in the following years.
Personally, although I know they are synonymous with the 1st gen....I dont like the 13" "plus" wheels.Just too cobby and 80'ish.....

It doesn't cover anything about flux capacitors. The section is simply missing; not to mention it totally skips on muffler bearings. I had to figure those two out by meself...
